Robert's Work History

Most of my accomplishments were the direct result of working with some of the industry’s top talent. My personal contributions came in the form of helping these companies realize their vision through visual static prototyping.

Designing was only one small part of the User Experience process, from vision to Delivery, we always provide crystal clear visuals, messaging and requirements to enable the stakeholders of each of the products and services I was fortunate to work on. My work enabled them to make the right decisions prior to starting a single line of code.

Below are some of the companies I have helped to achive their goals.

@ CIBC - Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce

Working on contract to deliver a robust user experience while adhering to the strict corporate standards and guidelines. Working with the talented CIBC User experience team, and business analysts, to create a new pre-sign on deposit account online application.

@ RBC - Royal Bank of Canada

Working on contract with for iMason, I managed to design and architect a new business offering fro RBC called "Private Counsel Online", for managed high net worth customers. Producing wireframes, UI spec and workflows delivering the overall user experience.

@ State Bank of India

Working with zegap on a freelance basis re-architecting the user experience of the Canadian Sate Bank of India site. Building wireframe and new user flows to address business requirements.

@ eDynamic

As the Sr. User Experience Architect and Account Manager for www.eDynamic.net, I am responsible for enhancing their UI design and development processes.

Offering my years of experience to help deliver consistent, user centric design by applying methodologies that actually work in the field. Avoiding common misconceptions of what User Interface design is all about. Delivering requirements, wire frames, prototypes, and presenting it to the stakeholders of each project for approval. This material is then passed to their offshore facility of 200+ developers and web designers to deliver an accurate facsimile to the original requirement. Also managing multiple client account, dealing on a regular basis to help provide solutions to their online needs.

@ Eloqua

As the Sr. Usability / UI Designer at Eloqua Corporation, Robert was given the task of re-engineering and re-architected the workflow and interaction for their Marketing Conversion Web Application.

He has also completed the first draft of a redesign to their Reporting system Check it Out , currently under review by corporate stakeholders.

@ EVault

This Map paved the road to a whole new approach to their UI development process and UI Standards.

Robert wrote a Heuristic evaluation of their desktop Agent backup software that helped redesign a simpler and more user friendly version, currently being used by clients Check it Out . Also designed from the ground up, a web based Archiving application, EVaults first Web based application to be in production.

@ FMC

At FMC (Financial Models) Robert was a member of the Interface Design team that specialized in the design of the interaction elements for a web-based portfolio management and trading system that FMC was developing at the time. Check it Out

As part of this work, Robert was instrumental in the creation of an in-house web-development environment that enabled the Usability team to generate standard compliant screens that could be used for static prototyping and wire frames and then the same screen would be handed-off to the development teams by exporting the back end code that dramatically increased the efficiency of the development cycle.

Robert was also responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the master style sheet for FMCs Suite of Web enabled applications and it was through this work that he provided the look and feel for the FMC web product line. Robert was the principal behind the design for these products and it is his vision that is reflected in the current version of FMC's latest product line.

In addition to these duties, Robert also contributed to other corporate initiatives including the production of marketing materials and web development for both internal and external audiences. Robert created several intranet web sites for various teams and also contributed to the online learning portal, FMCAcademy . This web site was created for FMC product end users and was very successful in the training of new users.

Robert is very passionate about his work and can always be counted on to contribute in a positive and committed manner. I am sure he would be a welcome addition to any development team.
